Wonder What We Do ..?

Community Building Management Care is an independent private social care provider offering a 24-hour, person-centred service for young people aged 16+ who may need help in facing a wide range of developmental issues. As teenagers approach adulthood, living independently becomes a significant goal. The development of self-resilience is required, so we aim to support young people from “dysfunctional” families and a diverse range of backgrounds, including immigration, foster care, or the Youth Justice system. We deliver resources that provide the necessary skills and information to help adolescents transition into adulthood and develop the skills needed to live independently.

 Advantages

One of the advantages that our supported living programme can offer is the teaching of various “coping mechanisms.” When struggling young adults have these identified skills, many issues they face can be easily solved, enabling them to make more informed decisions for themselves. We assess their management plans from the very beginning and consult using a co-production approach to determine the best possible therapeutic packages, tailor-made for each individual as a continuous process.

Our supported living programmes

These services are for young people who are in need of a safe and supportive environment while they transition into adulthood. This type of independent living can be a great source of learning and maturation for young people who haven’t had the chance to be shown a different pathway or who have a crucial developmental gap in their milestones that has never been identified.

Our programmes

About US

Community Building Management is a specialist social enterprise that operates a supported housing scheme. We deliver individually tailored supported living, offending behaviour programmes, and community interventions to young people aged 16+. The social and emotional development of young people is key to the programme of care we provide. Our therapeutic consultants and support workers offer guidance, provide support to carers, and work directly with young people in need. These support mechanisms help us collectively achieve positive change for the better.

Semi Independent Livivng

We provide short- to medium-term placements and support transitioning pathways into independent living. We work with landlords who offer only high-quality, modern self-contained units and shared accommodation, which young people should rightly experience under our care. This, in turn, can help the young person care about their surroundings. Our accommodation complies with the latest health and safety specifications, ensuring our provision complies with the relevant H&S regulations.

therapeutic

Our counsellors and therapeutic support workers will formulate an initial risk assessment plan within the young person’s first 24 hours. We then seek to implement support mechanisms for children and young people with emotional needs, behavioural difficulties, and mild learning disabilities. We assess the needs of each individual and provide bespoke care plans through our multidisciplinary team, who can offer specialist support.
